

What glasses do you wear?
Sitting in church this past Sunday, I was reminded of a topic I spoke on nearly 10 years ago. I was asked to speak at a women's event for my college ministry group. What God put on my heart to say that night has stayed with me all this time. I recently had to visit the optometrist for a new prescription in my writing/reading glasses. I was starting to get headaches while writing because the lenses couldn't correctly shape my vision anymore as I stared at my computer screen


Another new beginning!
After most of the initial rounds of content edits for my latest novel, I'm excited to announce that I'm ready to begin my next project. I've always loved the way Jesus calls Himself our "Good Shepherd". When I first became a Christian at sixteen, I had no idea what a shepherd did for his sheep. My Writing Process
Over the past few months, I've had quite a few people ask me how I'm able to write a novel and what the process looks like. Well, here it is. First, I honestly pray. Each of my novels and/or stories is written for the purpose of sharing God's grace with my readers no matter what walk of life they are in. Love 'til it breaks your heart...
Many times, love is equated with a heart. What does this mean? Is it because we simply assume love is a feeling, and feelings come from the heart? The Bible teaches that love is much more than a feeling. Love is shown by our actions, by our genuine concern for others. Jesus was our best example.
